Dr. Osnat Wende immigrated to Israel from Australia in 1985. She completed her specialization in family medicine and since 1994 has focused on the treatment of musculoskeletal problems. In 2001, she established the Israeli Society for Musculoskeletal Medicine. Together with other doctors, she conducted 18 courses in the field for physicians and physiotherapists. Later, she completed a specialization in pain relief medicine at Hadassah Ein Kerem, and led the treatment in the musculoskeletal field in the pain unit.
Today, Dr. Wende continues to work at the Asuta Medical Center and in a private clinic.
Since 2010, she has begun to perform regenerative treatments (medicine that promotes the construction and strengthening of damaged tissue in the body). Experience has shown that regenerative treatment is much healthier than the treatments currently accepted (including the administration of drugs that cause many side effects, and cortisone injections). Regenerative treatments not only reduce pain levels but also improve overall function, range of motion, and thus, allow the patient to lead a healthier and more active life. Working with regenerative medicine gives great satisfaction to witness the positive changes of the patients.
